Thermal Wire and Cable's FEP insulated lead wires offer a wide service temperature range. Retention of its properties after service at 200°C (392°F).
Thermal Wire and Cable's FEP insulated conductors produce very little smoke when burned and are chemically inert to nearly all industrial chemicals and solvents. As a primary insulation FEP couples superior dielectric properties, heat resistance and durability. Its flexible nature and small diameter profile provides for easy, economical installations. Fully pigmented insulation in bright colors aids in positive identification when compared with other high temperature cables that are augmented with a braid.
Thermal Wire and Cable's FEP insulated lead wire slide rather tear, yet its abrasion resistance helps eliminate cut-through and other damage that can occur during installation and use.
Thermal Wire and Cable's FEP lead wires are 20% smaller in diameter than braided cables allowing more circuits per conduit. Standard conductor is tin-coated copper.
